Here’s something for you to think about if you’re having a difficult time with social distancing for the next 15 days. So many people I speak to are focused on what they CAN’T do during this time instead of what they CAN do. There’s so many things that you can be doing yet here’s the problem.
Many of us feel guilty because we’re thinking of all things we SHOULD be doing instead of turning that around to see all the things we COULD be doing. In other words, take these 15 days as “Guilt- Free Time!” Yes, lives are certainly turned a bit upside down right now but this too shall pass and until it does, find all the positive in it that you can.
Stop feeling guilty about things that you SHOULD be doing. You can do them once we’ve “flattened the curve.” Start thinking about the things you COULD be doing! This is one way to alleviate any stress or anxiety that you’re feeling during this time. Change your mindset. Change your perspective. Change your thinking.
It’s “guilt-free time” for at least the next 15 days. Do the things you SHOULD be doing if you can, but now is the perfect time to make a list of all the things you COULD be doing and start doing them!
It’s a good thing.
Stay calm. Stay healthy. Stay home.
Wishing you love and light,
