“Time To Declutter Your Life”

(Here’s an excerpt from my book, “My Collective Soul: Things I Know Without Knowing Why.”)

It’s only a few days before we say “goodbye” to the old year and welcome in the New Year.  Are you ready? I know that I am!

One of the things I find myself doing once the Christmas festivities come to an end is to begin a mission to “declutter” my life and one thing I’ve learned is that “clutter” makes for stress and imbalance. Now, I’m by no means a “neat freak,” yet this time of year is almost like “spring cleaning” for me. It’s an opportunity to clean out the clutter from this past year to make space for all the “new” things that the upcoming year will bring.

It’s a good time to clean out drawers, go through stacks of papers, and donate things that someone else may get better use of. It’s also a great time of year to clear out your inbox and re-evaluate your friends list on social media. It’s time to surround yourself with positive people and clear out the negative ones. It’s time to get rid of that stagnant energy and replace it with an exciting and positive energy.

Clutter exists around you and within you, that is, if you let it. It’s time to clear it out and clear it up.

Make this upcoming year one of new beginnings, exciting adventures, and dreams come true!

Close out this year with love and begin the new year with promise!

It’s a good thing.

Wishing you love and light,

~Anne Dennish~

“Are You Ready To Jump Into 2020?”

The New Year of 2020 is fast approaching and I have to wonder if you’ve been thinking of the life lessons you’ve learned this year. After all, I don’t believe in “resolutions” but in “revelations,” those lessons we’ve learned throughout the year that’s about to end. It’s those lessons that we need to take with us into 2020.

They’re the lessons of some eye-opening moments, of seeing the true colors of people and situations, of learning again and again that you are important. They’re the lessons of  seeing when we weren’t loving ourselves enough or taking care of ourselves the way that we take care of others. They’re the lessons of learning what works in our life and what doesn’t.

And they’re the lessons that taught us what and who we need to let go of to live our best life.

What are your revelations from 2019?

Are you ready to take those valuable lessons with you into 2020?

Let’s start this year off with a positive outlook on all the possibilities that the New Year will have to offer and let’s all start moving forward into living our best life!

It’s a good thing.

Wishing you love and light,

~Anne Dennish~

“The Stepping Stones Into 2020”

It seems to me that the year of 2019 has been a rough one for so many. I’ve heard more people talk about all the negative things that have happened to them. Most people are grateful that the year is almost over. In a way, I am too, but for different reasons.

I’m excited for the New Year that is fast approaching. It’s a new beginning, a new month and a new year.

And I agree, 2019 has been a difficult year filled with more ups and downs than I would 2019_is_the_stepping_stone_1have liked, yet I believe that it’s been a “stepping stone” to get us all to 2020.

All those ups and downs we’ve experienced have been teaching us valuable life lessons, opened our eyes to see the truth around us, and given us reason to think about what we really want and don’t want in our life.

We’ve managed to survive so far through this crazy year of 2019 that’s almost over, so let’s give it a proper send off, shall we?

“Thank you, 2019, for being a stepping stone for 2020, a year that will put the past behind me and allow me to step into an amazing present, one filled with endless possibilities for my future. Thank you, 2019, for all that you taught me. I’m forever grateful because the lessons you taught me are going to help me to live my best life and live the life that I deserve.”

And it’s a good thing.

Wishing you love and light,

“Let’s Get Excited!”

hello_december_lets_take

I love the month of December for many reasons. Yes, it’s the holidays but it’s so much more. It’s the excitement of knowing it’s the last month of the year and that a new year is fast approaching. It’s the excitement of making a decision to “take the year out in style!” And that’s what I try to do every year.

Can you feel it the excitement? Do you want to feel that excitement?

Let’s do it together. Let’s change our mindset to one of positive intentions, gratitude for the year that’s about to end and for the new one about to begin, and confidence in knowing that we are the ones in control of having the life that we want!

Let’s welcome the month of December with open arms and take this year out in style!

It’s a good thing!

Wishing you love and light,

“Forget About New Year’s Resolutions”

I write about this subject in one form or another every year, and this year is no exception.

As the New Year quickly approaches people start talking about their “resolutions.” There’s things they want to do and things they want to change in their life so they make a list of “resolutions.”

I threw that concept out years ago because to me, resolutions were nothing more than making promises to myself that I couldn’t keep. They were goals for sure, but seriously, how many of us actually stick to those resolutions? I always tried, failed at some, then beat myself up for not doing what I had wanted.

So, years ago I realized that the only way for my life to change was by learning the lessons that life had handed me, by learning from my mistakes, learning from my experiences, and so I decided to have my “New Year’s Revelations!”

I ask myself some important questions throughout the month of December: What opened my eyes this past year? What did I learn about myself? What type of people are in my tribe? Am I taking care of myself and loving myself enough or giving too much of myself away? And what do I need to let go of that has no place in the New Year coming up and in my life?

These are the questions to ask yourself and answer honestly. You see, when you have those “revelations” about yourself and the year that’s about to come to an end, you take those lessons and truths with you. You begin the New Year with a better understanding of yourself, your life, your situations and the people in it. And when you do that, the New Year will bring all that you want it to: love, happiness, joy, adventure, new beginnings, new opportunities; the possibilities are endless.

Don’t put added stress on yourself by making “resolutions.”

Take the time to think about your “revelations” and begin the New Year in a positive light. All things are possible if you just believe in yourself!

Remember: “Everything begins with YOU!”

It’s a good thing.

Wishing you love and light,

“The Wrong And The Right”

“The wrong person wants something FROM you;
the right person wants everything FOR you.”

~Anne Dennish~

It doesn’t matter if it’s a budding romance, a committed relationship, a marriage or a friendship, being with the “right” person is key to its’ success and happiness.

We all have a choice of who we surround ourselves with, so please, my friends, choose wisely. Don’t allow the “wrong” people to drain you of your energy and self-esteem. Surround yourself with the light of the “right” person; the one who see’s you and all that you are and all that you can be; the one who supports your dreams and ideas; the one who wants only the best for you.

Choose the people who want all the best for you.

Wishing you love and light,

~Anne Dennish~

“Clearing Out The Clutter for 2017”
