“Bad Decisions That You Can Laugh At”

If there’s one thing that I’ve learned in life is NOT TO MAKE IMPORTANT DECISIONS when you’re mad or upset! You need a clear, focused mind in order to make any important decisions, wouldn’t you agree?

My friend posted the picture below and I just had to share it because it’s funny and it’s true! How many times have you made a decision when you weren’t feeling quite like yourself, only to regret it later?

I can name quite a few “not so good” decisions I have made over the years when I was in a bad mood. How about you?

Here’s to bad decisions that we can laugh at! They’re the best kind, especially when it involves your hair! LOL!

Wishing you love, light and laughter today,

“What Do You Believe?”

I believe that dreams do come true.

I believe that music and dancing soothe the soul.

I believe that we can change if we want to.

I believe that actions make the words true.

I believe that laughter is really the best medicine.

I believe that loyalty, respect and trust is the key to any relationship.

I believe that intuition never lies and if you feel like something is off, it usually is.

I believe that lies always hurt more than the truth.

I believe that it’s easier to be kind than it is to be mean.

I believe that most problems can be solved through open communication, respect and truth.

I believe that an attitude of gratitude can change your life.

I believe that it’s healthy to have a lazy afternoon every once in a while.

And I believe that life puts all of us exactly where we need to be and life has put me in Florida, at least for now!

Just my thoughts for today…

What do YOU believe?

Wishing you love and light,

“What Day Is It?”

The “new normal” of life from COVID-19 is certainly challenging. I keep thinking: “What day is it? What time is it? What’s happening to me?”

We have to find some humor in all the insanity going on around us. Take a listen…

Stay calm. Stay safe. Stay home.

It’s a good thing.

Wishing you love and light,

“Social Distancing On My Birthday”

“And on the first day of the next year of my life…”

I’m practicing “safe social distancing” and helping to “flatten the curve.” Aside from the precautions that we’re all being told to take, I have my boys doing the same for me. They’re telling me what I should and shouldn’t be doing and as a mom it melts my heart to know how much they care about me.

They’re still looking out for me even on my birthday! My two youngest were here with my birthday cake and as you can see by the picture, they were sure to practice social distancing! Of course I laughed because I think laughter is the best medicine in any situation. It lightens the mood and takes your mind off of things.

And we sure laughed!

So here I am on the “first day of the next year of my life” laughing with my family, enjoying my “vegan” chocolate birthday cake, and finding peace and serenity by sitting in my backyard with the sun shining on my face.

Maybe this “social distancing” thing isn’t such a bad thing after all.

Stay well. Stay healthy. Stay calm.

And remember to laugh.

It’s a good thing.

Wishing you love and light,

~Anne Dennish~

“Find Your Funny, Honey!”

Laughter is truly the best medicine and today I felt as though some of you may need a little something to make you laugh.

This is a picture of my son, Danny, from about 23 years ago. This child was always doing something to make you laugh and this is one of my favorite pictures of him when he was younger.

I’m a believer that no matter what is going on in your life you need to remember to “find your funny” whenever and wherever you can.

Take a moment to forget about your troubles, smile and laugh out loud!

It’s a good thing.

Wishing you love and light,

~Anne Dennish~

Find Your Funny

My son, Danny, could always make me laugh…and 22 years later he still does!
